Man Time sure does FLY...

Gosh, August flew right by us. With going to Mexico, Camping and playing lots of softball I can't believe that August is over and we are almost half way through September. Addie is already 2 months old and getting so chubby. She is smiling all the time and is such a good baby. With all her hair she just looks so much older to me then a 2 month old. Attached is pictures of what the kids have been up to the last month.

Aaden is growing up so fast. He says the funniest things. For example, the other day he said, "Mom you need to chill out." I must tell him to chill out a lot. Usually he tries to be a big helper like trying to put Addies pacifer in her mouth or goes and gets a diaper but he still likes to be a little stinker and poke her eyes or push her to hard in her swing.

Oh yeah, I included a picture of what I have been up to. That's right, that is my kitchen AKA my office for the last couple of days. My kitchen has been under all these shirts and sweatshirts for the high school while I put names and numbers on them. Thank goodness the shirts are all finished and have been delivered so my kitchen is back to normal.

Rocky Point

So last week my family all decided to go to Rocky Point. Devin and Jolynn know somebody that has a house there so we rented it from them. I wasn't very excited to go at first since I had just had a baby 2 weeks earlier and not exactly in top swimsuit shape and I was a little nervous taking Addie to Mexico but everything turned out fine. The house was very nice and the weather was perfect. We hung out at the beach all day, rode the banana boats, rode jet skis, played cards all night and enjoyed every body's company. Aaden loved playing in the water with his daddy and all of his cousins. Above are some pictures of the fun.

Our Newest Addition

On Tuesday the 15th we had our baby Girl
Addie Rae
She weighed 7lbs 10 ounces with tons of black hair.

This is the 1st time Aaden got to meet his new sister.

We all LOVE her so much and can't get enough of her. Aaron and I can't take our eyes off of Aaden because he is so curious and wants to be so close to her that he tries to crawl in the bassinet or the bouncer. He is already very protective and anytime somebody he doesn't know wants to see her he gets right next to her and says, "My sister" like he is protecting her.

Summer Fun!!!

Finally the wind has stopped blowing for about a week and Aaden has got to enjoy the weather by being out side. He loves playing in the water. He has ran through the sprinklers in his birthday suit a couple of times, played on the slipping slide he got for his birthday with his cousins and then he got to play with his cousins with the baby pool Kadee got for her birthday. He loves all of them. Nikki just put their big pool up so he got to do that yesterday and loved it. Hopefully he will know how to swim by the end of summer. Below are some pictures using Kadee's pool(I forgot to take pictures for the other things).

2 year Pictures

Last weekend we took Aaden to get his 2 year old pictures. He did such a good job compared to his 1 year when he just wanted to scream at the photographer and run away. He are a few of the ones they took! He loved the bat and ball and was sad when we took it away.

Our baby turns 2

On Tuesday Aaden had his 2nd birthday. We had a little get together with friends and family and had cake and ice cream, opened presents and then watched the Sun's game(which ended the season for the Sun's:(. Listed below are a few of Aaden's favorite things:

1. Aaden loves his cousins. He ask everyday if he can go see Eilee, Lanee, Macy, Kadee or Conner. Some times I have to tell him we will go see your cousins if you help mommy and pick up your toys!
2. Aaden love bubbles and because of this will now go to nursery with out crying. We could blow bubbles for the kid all day and he would never get bored.
3. Aaden loves balloons, especially the punch ones with a string. He will sit and hit it in the air and entertain himself.
4. Aaden loves cheese, chocolate, strawberrys and Sponge Bob fruit snakes. These are his most requested snacks.
5. Aaden loves Barney. This is the only cartoon he would watch up to about 2 months ago. It was on replay constantly at our house. Finally, he is starting to watch other things like Pooh and Tigger, Micky Mouse, and a few Disney movies(thank you, I have had enough Barney to last me a life time).
6. Last but not least Aaden loves balls. He loves baseball, basketball, football and even volleyball(I think this is from watching mom to much). He has his only little basketball hoop and will play with it for hours or now that the weather is nice he loves going outside and hitting of his baseball tee. He has a bucket of balls and he will sit there and hit all of them and then go around the yard and pick them up and start all over again. His new favorite thing is to have us pitch it to him and hit. Daddy has been teaching him to throw it up and hit it himself. His eye-hand coordination surprises me for how little he is!

I can't believe how much this little boy has changed our life's. We are so grateful that he was sent to us to be part of our family and that Heavenly Father trusted us enough to be his parents.

Once in awhile, right in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives us a fairy tale!!!
